Sarah Hendel

Sarah Hendel is a resident of Denton, moving to the area from Vermont with her husband and young son in 2016. Since the beginning, she and her family have been enthusiastic attendees to the Denton Community Market, and love to fill the fridge with fresh produce and locally made food stuffs. Sarah has been involved with the Denton County Master Gardeners Association, is an active cyclist, and enjoys exploring all the local trails and parks in Denton.

Sarah is a graduate of Saint Andrews University, and holds a Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. She currently serves as Program Manager, focusing on training development and document management, and is excited to bring these skills to the DCM Board. Sarah previously served in the Peace Corps as a Youth Development Volunteer in Turkmenistan.
