We Couldn’t Have Made it Without You!

Support Our Neighborhood

The Denton Community Market is a 501c3 non-profit organization that offers live, local music, children’s activities and family events each week, and has become a unique gathering space in Denton.

While we continue to grow, we have increased needs for equipment, marketing, and staffing at our current location at the Denton County Historical Park. We would love your support!

Why You Should Sponsor the Denton Community Market

Local

We are a producer-only Market with some of the most comprehensive vendor standards in Dallas-Fort Worth. Our vendors only sell goods produced within a 100-mile radius of Denton.  We feature over 130 local farmers, local artisans, and local food vendors that produce the items themselves. Community organizations and local government also feature booths at the Market.

Support the Arts

Most weeks, we have four local musical groups or musicians perform at the Market. The Denton Community Market is now part of the Cultural District just designated by the State of Texas. Many of our vendors are artisans, including illustrators, potters, metalworkers, woodworkers, fiber artisans, and more.

Community Access to Local Produce

The DCM is the only market north of Dallas to have both the WIC Voucher program for local produce and the SNAP token program for staple food items, allowing the availability of local produce and food to be accessible to all, including lower income individuals.

Support Sustainable Agriculture

Our farmers are DCM-Certified which means they use sustainable growing and production methods for their produce and other farm products. Our farmers use organic and natural methods of farming. Animals are free-range and treated humanely.
